Ghostlygathering are extremely pleased to announce the very first public paranormal investigation at Beaumaris Courthouse. The Courthouse was built in 1614 and its final case was heard in 1996. It is the oldest remaining courthouse in Wales. There have been many well known and infamous trials for murder held in the courthouse, which resulted in many hangings, the last being on February the 15th 1910. Other prisoners were sentenced to all types of punishment such as simple fines, public whipping, deportation and Gaol sentences.
With its history it is no surprise that there are many accounts of ghostly activity in the courthouse. Rooms feeling ice cold with sudden shifts in temperature for no reason, the sound of voices when nobody is present and doors slamming.
